Metricup, Margaret River

This special one off project was to design and construct a home on a winery that would blend into the natural environment and capture the amazing views of the vineyard, situated in the Margaret River region.

This was achieved through a huge open plan living area with northern facing bi-fold doors and highlight windows. A reverse angled pitch on the extensive verandah and alfresco enable the views to be unrestricted while still providing enough protection from the elements.

The home is contemporary and modern with high raised ceilings with negative detail cornice, commercial glazing, feature tile splashback and a surround sound system.

The WA blackbutt floor, recycled timber feature wall and bush poles to the verandah adds warmth and character, complementing the homes unique setting.
